Description

- Wheat Flour - ¾ cup
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Brown Sugar - ¾ cup
- Baking Powder - ¼ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - ¼ teaspoon
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Vanilla salt - ½ teaspoon
- Dried Apricots - 2.8 oz
- Pitted olives - 2.8 oz
- Pitted Wild Apricots - 2.8 oz
- Ground dried cherries - 1.4 oz
- Green Figs - 3.2 oz
- Peeled chestnuts - 4.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
Step 2
Add the dried fruits cut into small pieces, sugar, and nuts to the bowl with flour, and mix well by hand.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with vanilla until fluffy; the mixture will double in size.
Step 4
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and gently mix until all the fruits are coated with a thin layer of batter.
Step 5
Line the baking pan with parchment paper (and grease it with butter!), pour the batter into it, pressing down to eliminate air pockets.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 302°F. Bake for 70–75 minutes.
Step 7
When the cake turns golden brown, remove it from the oven and cool it in the pan.
