Description
Vanilla-Chocolate Curd Dessert
Ingredients
- Gelatin - 1.2 oz
- Milk - 16 fl oz
- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- 20% Sour Cream - 14.1 oz
- Vanillin - to taste
- Cocoa Powder - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak the gelatin in milk and let it swell for 1–1.5 hours. Heat the swollen gelatin over low heat, stirring constantly until completely dissolved.
Step 2
Add sugar and vanilla sugar to the gelatin and milk mixture, stirring until fully dissolved, and let it cool to room temperature.
Step 3
Pass the cottage cheese through a sieve or blend it until smooth.
Step 4
Add sour cream to the gelatin mixture, mix well, and combine with the cottage cheese mixture.
Step 5
Divide the resulting mixture into 2 parts; add cocoa to one part and mix well. Pour the light layer into a mold and refrigerate until set. Alternatively, you can place the mold in the freezer for 15–20 minutes.
Step 6
Once the first layer has set, pour in the second layer and refrigerate again until set.
Step 7
When the dessert is fully set, it can be cut into portioned pieces and garnished with fruits or chocolate.
