- Milk - 20 fl oz
- White Beans - 1 piece
- Whole egg - 6 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 2 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the milk into a saucepan. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and add both the seeds and the pod to the milk. Bring to a boil, then turn off the heat and let cool. Remove the vanilla pod.
Step 2
Whisk the yolks, powdered sugar, and flour together. Gradually pour in the warm milk.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to a dry saucepan and place over heat. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the mixture thickens.
Step 4
Serve immediately.
