Vashren with Strawberries and Cream with Rose Water

Ingredients

  • Sugar - 7.1 oz
  • Vegetable Oil - to taste
  • Egg white - 4 pieces
  • Cream of tartar - a pinch
  • Cream (40%) - 8 fl oz
  • Rose water - 4 fl oz
  • Strawberry - 60 pieces

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 90–203°F. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil.

Step 2

In a bowl over a water bath, beat the egg whites with sugar until the sugar dissolves and the mixture becomes warm.

Step 3

Remove from heat, add cream of tartar, and whip at high speed for 10 minutes.

Step 4

On the baking sheet, place 1 teaspoon of the mixture for each meringue, spaced apart. Make a hole in the center of each. Bake for 1.5–2 hours until the meringues are crispy.

Step 5

Meanwhile, in a bowl, whip the cream with rose water until stiff peaks form.

Step 6

Decorate each vashren with cream and strawberries.
