Ingredients
- Apple - 2 pieces
- Plant-based Cream - 2 fl oz
- Clear Apple Juice - 2.6 oz
- Coconut Milk - 1 fl oz
- Glutinous Rice Flour - 2.6 oz
- Millet - 1.9 oz
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Cardamom - to taste
- Citrus Zest Mix - to taste
- Jerusalem Artichoke - 1 fl oz
- Salt - a pinch
- Apple Cider Vinegar - 0 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 0.2 oz
- Muscovado Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the apples and slice them into thin half-moons.
Step 2
Line a baking dish with parchment paper (you can moisten it beforehand or grease the dish with oil).
Step 3
Sprinkle coconut sugar and cinnamon on the bottom.
Step 4
Layer the apples on top.
Step 5
Grind the millet in a blender to flour. In a bowl, mix the dry ingredients (rice flour, ground millet, spices, salt, and baking powder).
Step 6
Add the zest.
Step 7
Pour in the milk.
Step 8
Add the apple puree.
Step 9
Add the coconut oil.
Step 10
Add the syrup and vinegar. Mix well.
Step 11
Spread the batter evenly over the apples.
Step 12
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes at 338°F.
Step 13
Serve warm or cold.
