- Wheat Flour - 2¼ glasses
- Water - 1,30 glasses
- Dry yeast - 1½ spoons
- Sugar - 1¼ glasses
- Vegetable Oil - 2 spoons
- Poppy seed paste - 5.3 oz
- Potato protein - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ½ spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the yeast dough: dissolve 1.5 teaspoons of yeast in a cup of water, then add 2 cups of flour, vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 0.5 teaspoon of salt.
Step 2
Prepare the poppy seed filling: add starch, a tablespoon of flour, a cup of sugar, and about 80 ml of water to the poppy seeds.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a thin sheet and evenly spread the poppy seed filling over the entire surface. Roll the dough into a log, ensuring the poppy seeds are enclosed inside. Cut the log into buns, each about 5 cm high.
Step 4
Line a round baking pan with parchment paper and tightly arrange the prepared rolls in it, starting from the center — they will merge into a single pie. Bake for about 40 minutes at 392°F.
