Ingredients

  • Bananas - 2 pieces
  • Sugar - ⅓ cup
  • Wheat Flour - 0.7 cups
  • Coarsely Ground Rye Flour - ⅓ cup
  • Water - ⅓ cup
  • Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Activated Baking Soda - 0.3 teaspoons
  • Dried Turkey - to taste
  • Nuts - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Soak dried fruits, such as apricots, cherries, raisins, and nuts, such as walnuts, hazelnuts, or peanuts, in water in a separate bowl.

Step 2

In a blender or food processor, chop 2 bananas, pour in ⅓ cup of water, add ⅓ cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and salt. Blend well.

Step 3

Transfer to a mixing bowl, add 3 tablespoons of oil (such as grape seed oil).

Step 4

Sift ⅓ cup of rye flour and ⅔ cup of wheat flour into the mixture along with the baking soda.

Step 5

Knead the dough until it reaches the consistency of sour cream (not too liquid and not too thick).

Step 6

Fold in the chopped dried fruits and nuts into the prepared dough.

Step 7

Pour the dough into a baking pan.

Step 8

Bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 160–356°F.

Step 9

Let cool and transfer to a plate.
