Description
It is not necessary to fry the samosas immediately. You can place them on a floured sheet, cover with plastic wrap, and put them in the refrigerator.
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 15.9 oz
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Ghee - 1 tablespoon
- Onion - 1 piece
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Green Peas - 3.5 oz
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- Red Curry Powder - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Turmeric - to taste
- Ground coriander - to taste
- Potato - 14.1 oz
- Macadamia Nuts - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the filling. For this, thinly slice the bell pepper and onion and lightly sauté them. Then mix with peeled potatoes (previously boiled in their skins), diced into small cubes, and add peas, nuts, spices, and salt.
Step 2
For the dough, add salt to the flour and pour in the melted ghee. Rub until small fatty crumbs form. Then gradually pour in warm water and knead the dough. Cover the finished dough with a napkin and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.
Step 3
Divide the dough into 12 equal balls and roll them out. Now take one half-circle of dough, place it in the palm of your left hand, and pinch it along the diagonal overlap with your right fingers to form a cone shape without a rough seam. Place the filling into the formed cone and pinch the open edge. You should have a pastry with clear sharp corners.
Step 4
Fry the samosas in a large amount of hot oil until golden brown.
