Vegetarian Orange Pie

Ingredients

  • Oranges - 3 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
  • Sugar - 3 tablespoons
  • Salt - ⅓ teaspoon
  • Water - 1 fl oz
  • Butter - 8.8 oz
  • Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Blend the oranges with the skin in a blender (cut off the ends, chop into pieces, and place in the blender).

Step 2

Add sugar to the oranges in the blender.

Step 3

Melt the butter (it should be soft).

Step 4

Add salt and sugar to the butter and mix. Also add the baking soda. Squeeze in a little lemon juice.

Step 5

Add the flour to the mixture. Knead the dough. Knead for a couple of minutes.

Step 6

Stretch the dough in the baking dish. Fold the edges. Add the filling on top.

Step 7

Bake at 180°C for about 40 minutes.
