- Cilantro - 1 bunch
- Eggplants - 1 piece
- Cauliflower - 1 head
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 2 fl oz
- Ocean salt - a pinch
- Dried Rosemary - a pinch
- Wheat Flour - 4.2 oz
- Water - 8 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 302°F. Sauté the vegetables in water all together (except for the tomatoes and olives/black olives).
Step 2
While the vegetable mixture is cooking, let's start on the dough. In any bowl with high sides, sift the flour, add salt, baking powder, and rosemary. Pour in the oil and mix. The remaining and main ingredient is water; add enough to knead the dough (first with a spoon, then with your hands) and, importantly, it should not stick to your hands.
Step 3
In a baking dish (any color and size), pour a little oil, place the dough, and with a 'light motion of your hands,' try to shape it to fit the dish, meaning you need to spread the dough across the bottom and up the sides of the dish.
Step 4
Place the cooked vegetable mixture into the dish with the dough, add the herbs (to taste). Make it look nice: add the tomatoes, finely chopped, and mix them with the filling, or place them on top in large pieces.
Step 5
This step is optional... mix a little water with flour in a cup, and pour this mixture over the vegetable filling. This makes the filling uniform so that the pieces of pie do not fall apart.
Step 6
Put the pie in the oven and raise the temperature to 392°F.
Step 7
After 20-30 minutes, enjoy the most delicious vegetarian pastry.
