Description
You can add dried fruits of your choice to the batter, and not just dried fruits—fresh or frozen fruits and berries should be squeezed, dried, and dusted with flour, and voila! Add them to the batter!) You can also get creative with the decoration, but it’s very delicious—chocolate frosting with chocolate on top!)))
Ingredients
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Bittersweet Chocolate - 5.3 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 3.5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath at 122°F, then let it cool to room temperature. Beat the softened butter with the sugar until it lightens in color, adding the egg yolks one at a time while continuing to beat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
Step 2
Add the melted chocolate and whisk well.
Step 3
Add the flour and mix with a mixer on low speed (you can also use a spoon).
Step 4
Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then gently fold them into the batter, using a spoon to mix from the bottom up, being very careful not to deflate the egg whites.
Step 5
Bake for 30–40 minutes at 356°F.
Step 6
Additionally, I melted some milk chocolate and drizzled it over the cake; you can also simply sprinkle it with chocolate crumbs.
