Description
These waffle tubes are not very easy to make if you don't have a waffle iron. The thinner you can spread the sticky batter on a dry skillet, the thinner and crispier the waffles will be. If they are not thin, the process of rolling the tubes will be easier, and they won't break or dry out quickly. But don't be afraid: it's not as scary as it seems, and even an inexperienced cook can succeed. If you're having trouble with the batter, it's perfectly acceptable to add a little milk to make it thinner and cook simple pancakes instead. The filling for the tubes can be anything, but they are especially good with cottage cheese, both hot and cold.

On a dry heated skillet, place 1 tablespoon of batter.
Step 16
Spread it evenly over the surface (spreading from the center to the edges and in a circular motion) and cook on low heat until the top layer is dry.
Step 17
When the pancake is browned on the bottom and dry on top, flip it over and finish cooking.
Step 18
Remove the finished pancake to a plate, place the desired amount of filling (about 2 tablespoons).
Step 19
And roll it into a tube without delaying for too long, as the pancakes quickly become tough; they are the future waffles.
Step 20
Stack the finished waffle tubes and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Step 21
Garnish and serve.
