Ingredients
- Walnuts - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
- Water - 1 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Cook over low heat for about 7 minutes.
Step 2
Shell the walnuts and chop them finely. Sift out the walnut dust and crumbs. Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add lemon juice to the syrup. Stir in the toasted walnuts. Cook for 3 minutes until thickened.
Step 4
Spread the walnut mixture into a mold lined with parchment paper and greased with vegetable oil.
Step 5
Break into pieces before serving.
