Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sour Cream - 3.9 oz
- Citric Acid - ¼ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - ¼ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Walnuts - 2.3 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Milk - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Vanillin - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - ½ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat 2 eggs with 1 cup of sugar, add sour cream, salt, citric acid, and baking soda. Gradually add flour and knead the dough. Spread it evenly in a well-greased pan and bake for 20-25 minutes at 200°C. Cool the baked layer. Then cut it in half lengthwise. Crumble one half into crumbs and mix with the chopped walnuts.
Step 2
Beat the egg with ⅓ cup of sugar. Add the remaining sugar to the milk and bring to a boil. Gradually pour about ½ cup of hot milk into the beaten egg. Then combine this mixture with the remaining hot milk and, stirring, bring to a boil. Cool the mixture.
Step 3
Cream the softened butter with powdered sugar and gradually pour in the prepared egg-milk mixture while whipping.
Step 4
Spread ⅓ of the cream on the layer. Top the cream with the crumbled dough and walnuts. Use the remaining cream to frost the sides and top of the cake. Briefly place the finished cake in the refrigerator.
