Ingredients
- Watermelon - 2 lbs
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Vodka - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh Berries - 2.1 oz

Step 1
Cut the watermelon flesh into cubes and blend in a food processor. Strain through a sieve into a bowl, add sugar and vodka, then pour into a plastic container. Cover and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours.
Step 2
Remove from the freezer, let sit for a few minutes to allow the mixture to soften: the vodka will prevent it from freezing too hard. Stir with a fork to break it into crystals. Return to the freezer until ready to serve.
Step 3
Then, scoop the finished granita into frozen glasses, sprinkle with berries, and serve.
