- Watermelon - 2 lbs
- Sugar - 3 lbs
- Fresh Mint - to taste
- Cinnamon - to taste
- White Beans - to taste
- Saffron - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, peel the watermelon, cut the flesh into wedges, remove all the seeds, cover with water, and boil for 5–10 minutes. After that, drain the watermelon in a colander and start making the sugar syrup.
Step 2
Pour sugar into water and boil until the syrup thickens.
Step 3
Pour the watermelon with the sugar syrup, add spices — mint, cinnamon, vanilla, and let it soak for half an hour.
Step 4
After half an hour, cook the jam over low heat until the desired consistency is reached.
