Wheat Crackers
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Brown Sugar - ½ cup
- Ocean salt - 0 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Honey - ¼ g
- Ground clove - 0.1 teaspoons
- Milk - ⅓ cup
- Sugar - ¼ g
- Ground Cinnamon - ½ g
- Butter - 6 tablespoons
- Black Pomegranate Molasses - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the dry ingredients.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, honey, molasses, and milk.
Step 3
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing continuously. Place the dough in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Step 4
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease two baking sheets with butter. Dust with flour and shake off the excess.
Step 5
Remove the chilled dough from the refrigerator and divide it into two parts. Roll out one part to 3 mm thick, dusting the rolling pin with flour to prevent sticking.
Step 6
Cut the dough into 5 rectangles and place them on the baking sheet. Prick with a fork to make holes.
Step 7
Mix the sugar and cinnamon and generously sprinkle over the crackers.
Step 8
Bake for 12–15 minutes until the edges darken. Transfer the crackers to a wire rack to cool and repeat with the remaining dough.
