Wheat porridge with milk, apple juice, and dried fruits

Ingredients

  • Buckwheat Groats - 1 cup
  • Milk - ¼ cup
  • Water - 1 cup
  • Apple juice with pulp - 1½ cups
  • Dried Apricots - 2 pieces
  • Pitted Wild Apricots - 1.4 oz
  • Light Raisins, Seedless - 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
  • Ground clove - ¼ teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a pot, combine water and juice, bring to a boil. Add the dried fruits and spices to the pot. After 10–15 minutes, add the wheat groats and cook on low heat until all the liquid is absorbed. Remove the pot from the heat, add the milk, stir, let it sit for 2–3 minutes, serve in bowls.

Step 2

You can also add other dried berries and fruits to the dried fruits.
