Description
This recipe uses a multi-cup (160 ml). You can set this porridge to cook overnight with a delayed start. It makes for a great breakfast without sacrificing sleep. In this case, use ultra-pasteurized cold milk.
Ingredients
- Buckwheat Groats - 1 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Water - 2 cups
- Salt - a pinch
- Honey - to taste
- Nuts - to taste
- Butter - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grease the inside of the multicooker bowl with butter.
Step 2
Rinse 1 cup of wheat groats under running water and add to the multicooker bowl. Add salt.
Step 3
Pour 2 cups of milk and 2 cups of water over the groats.
Step 4
Stir well.
Step 5
Set the multicooker to the 'Milk Porridge' mode, cooking time — 33 minutes, and start cooking.
Step 6
While the 'magic machine' is working, grind the nuts. You can use different types and mix them. I usually add either almonds, cashews, or pine nuts.
Step 7
Beep beep beep! The multicooker is done. Serve the porridge in bowls, mix in honey and ground nuts to taste.
