Description
It is the unquenched baking soda and warm kefir that give the pancakes the desired fluffiness; however, be careful not to overheat the latter: too high a temperature will kill the yeast, negating the properties of the drink. p.s. They are very tasty with chocolate mousse and coffee ;)
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Kefir - 7 fl oz
- Water - 1 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Light Raisins, Seedless - to taste
- Nuts - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - 3 teaspoons
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - to taste
- Bran - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the egg with salt and sugar.
Step 2
Warm the kefir with a small amount of water slightly and pour it warm into the beaten egg. Mix everything thoroughly until a light foam forms.
Step 3
Dividing the flour into several parts, gradually add it to the liquid and knead a thick, sticky dough. Finally, add a teaspoon of unquenched (!) baking soda.
Step 4
Chop the nuts, raisins, and any other additions (if possible, fiber) and mix them into the dough. Finally, add a pinch of fragrant cinnamon or vanilla.
Step 5
Generously pour vegetable oil into a hellishly heated frying pan and fry the pancakes over moderate heat on both sides until cooked through, as it should be.
