Wild Garlic Pie
Ingredients
- Ramsons - 5.3 oz
- Kefir - 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 5.3 oz
- Chicken Egg - 5 pieces
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Dill - 0.7 oz
- Parsley - 0.4 oz
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Butter - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 356°F.

Serve the pie slightly warm or completely cooled. The pie pairs well with kefir, ayran, or tea.

Boil 2 eggs for the filling until hard-boiled.
Step 3
In a bowl, combine the remaining eggs with the kefir, vegetable oil, and a pinch of salt. Whisk the mixture until smooth.
Step 4
Gradually add the flour, previously mixed with the baking powder, while kneading a thick dough. The consistency should resemble that of low-fat sour cream.

For the filling, finely chop the ramsons, dill, parsley, and hard-boiled eggs.

Mix the filling ingredients together, adding a bit of salt and pepper.

Pour half of the batter into a greased baking pan.

Spread the filling over the dough.

Pour the remaining batter on top to completely cover the filling. Place the pie in the preheated oven and bake for about 40 minutes. Check for doneness with a wooden skewer: if it comes out dry, the pie is ready.
