Winter Pear
Ingredients
- Pears - 2 pieces
- Raw cane sugar - 7.1 oz
- Water - 7 fl oz
- Mango - 1 piece
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1 bar
- Freeze-dried strawberry powder - to taste
- Marinated cherries - to taste
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the sweet pears.
Step 2
Peel the mango and cut it into slices.
Step 3
Prepare the sugar syrup: dissolve the cane sugar in water and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Once the syrup boils, add the pears and simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 5
After 5 minutes, remove the pears from the syrup and add the mango slices, frozen strawberries, cherries, and any other organic berries to taste into the same syrup. Simmer on low heat for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Melt 1 bar of dark organic chocolate in a double boiler.
Step 7
Place the cooled pears in the center of a plate, pour the melted chocolate over them, and decorate with mango and berries. Drizzle the remaining syrup from cooking the fruits and berries over the dish and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Step 8
Serve the dish cold. Optionally, it can be garnished with whipped cream, nuts, etc.
