Description

From this amount of dough, I can make 4 small pies. You can also make fried pastries with this dough, but in that case, add not 1 cup of sunflower oil, but 3 tablespoons.

Ingredients

  • Water - 17 fl oz
  • Salt - 2 teaspoons
  • Sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Safflower Oil - 1 cup
  • Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
  • Dry yeast - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour 500 ml of cold water into a pot. Add salt, sugar, and sunflower oil. Bring to a boil, but do not boil. Cool to the temperature of warm milk.

Step 2

Add the yeast (I use Packmay), and mix thoroughly.

Step 3

Add the flour and knead the dough. I cannot specify the exact amount of flour, as I add it by eye. The dough should be soft and not sticky to the hands.

Step 4

Place the resulting dough in any container, cover with a lid, and put in a warm place for 1 hour.
