- Natural Yogurt - 10 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Sugar - 10.6 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ spoons
- Orange zest - 2 spoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 qt
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the yogurt, flour, and baking soda. Place the prepared dough in the refrigerator for twenty minutes.
Step 2
Place the orange zest and sugar in a saucepan, add 100 ml of water, and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat; after about ten minutes, the contents of the saucepan will turn into a syrup.
Step 3
In another saucepan, heat the oil until boiling. Using a tablespoon, drop portions of the dough into the hot oil and fry them for five minutes, or until golden brown.
Step 4
Dip the finished cookie balls in the orange syrup for about a minute, then transfer them to a plate – they are best enjoyed slightly cooled.
