Description
From time to time, you should gently poke the cake with a thin stick. When the batter stops sticking to the stick, the cake is ready. The Zebra Cake is easy and quick to prepare.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 1½ glasses
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Kefir - 1 glass
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ g
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Wheat Flour - 2 glasses
Step by Step guide
Step 1
You need to take 3 eggs, 1.5 cups of sugar, a pinch of salt, and mix everything thoroughly. I do this using a blender.
Step 2
In a well-whisked mixture until frothy, pour in a cup of kefir and stir again.
Step 3
Then, into a teaspoon half filled with baking soda, add a teaspoon of vinegar. Once it fizzes, pour it into the main mixture. Now, mix everything together with two cups of flour – the main dough is ready.
Step 4
Now pour half of the batter into another bowl, add a tablespoon of cocoa powder, and mix well.
Step 5
Pour the batter into a greased frying pan alternately: dark — light, dark — light, without mixing.
Step 6
All that’s left is to place the dough in the oven for 35–40 minutes, where the cake will bake at a temperature of 356°F.
