Ingredients
- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Sugar - 2.6 oz
- Condensed Milk - 0.4 oz
- Baking Powder - 0.1 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 6.7 oz
- Ground Cinnamon - 0.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, melt 60 g of butter, remove from heat, add 75 g of sugar, powdered milk, and baking powder.
Step 10
Allow the zemelakh to cool before serving.
Step 2
Lightly beat one of the eggs, add it to the saucepan with the butter mixture, and stir.
Step 3
Sift the flour onto a table in a mound, make a well in the center, pour in the mixture from the saucepan, and knead into a smooth dough.
Step 4
Roll it out into a thin layer.
Step 5
Beat the remaining egg and brush it over the surface of the dough.
Step 6
Sprinkle with the remaining sugar and cinnamon.
Step 7
Use a glass to cut out round cookies.
Step 8
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 9
Grease a baking sheet with the remaining butter, place the cookies on it, and bake for 10–15 minutes.
