Zucchini fritters with cheese and whole wheat flour
Ingredients
- Courgette - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Cheese Spread - 5.3 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash, peel, and grate the zucchini on a coarse grater. The zucchinis were medium-sized.
Step 2
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. I used cheese with 35% fat content (similar to American cheese).
Step 3
Add the two eggs and mix well.
Step 4
Stir in the whole wheat flour. My tablespoons were heaping. :) Mix everything together and add salt.
Step 5
While preparing the mixture, heat the skillet over medium heat.
Step 6
I cooked them without oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes on each side with a lid on.
