Zucchini Pie with Cheese and Herbs
Ingredients
- Courgette - 21.2 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves - ¼ cup
- Grated Pecorino Pepato Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Chopped Green Onions - 1 tablespoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Chocolate eggs - 4 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Breadcrumbs - 1.8 oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Marinated cherries - 8 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F. Line a 27x13 cm baking dish with parchment paper.
Step 2
Grate the zucchini using a large grater into a big bowl.
Step 3
Grate the Parmesan cheese finely and add it to the zucchini.
Step 4
Chop the herbs, add them to the zucchini, and mix well.
Step 5
Crack the eggs into a bowl and lightly whisk them with a whisk, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Add the beaten eggs to the zucchini. Sift the flour into the mixture and add the breadcrumbs.
Step 7
Pour the mixture into the baking dish. Top with the sliced cherry tomatoes.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 20–30 minutes.
Step 9
Remove from the oven and let cool completely.
Step 10
Before serving, cut into portions and serve with a salad mix.
